In order to "bolt on" as the ad says, you must first remove you under carriage plastic covering to get to the frame. then you need to cut holes in the liner so that the brackets can fit through. you are cutting blind as there is no mention as to how big to cut the holes or precisely where to cut them. This may not be a wise choice to start cutting away. In addition. the item comes with no instructions, just a parts list, which some of the parts were not even on the list. Also. the bracket that is joined to the base of the tube has a 1 (one) slide nut for two inches of travel that allows the unit to move around a lot if the nut ever was to come loose. A better solution would be to put 2 (two) slide nuts for better, more secure connection. Without having instruction, there were no Touque specs or alignment templates to allow for proper installation. When I called the company, they sent me two pictures of what appeared to be the under carriage with arrows pointing somewhere to do something. When I asked about this, they said take it to have it professionally installed. Not interested in doing this for a bolt on, no cutting, no drilling item. I have since them started an amazon return. In my opinion, Open box, a poorly made, no instructions item that doesn't work for me.
