In 2002 when dodge was manufacturing their trucks they changed the frame in September of 2002. The hitches advertised to fit 2003 ram 1500’s often only fit after 9/02. This hitch will fit the trucks made before 9/02. Looking for a hitch to fit the few trucks made before 9/02 is different but look no further, this is the hitch.Install is easy, the bolts are large so you need access to large sockets but besides that no problem at all.10/10 recommend!
