Yet again I find myself buying multiple things to do one job, last time it was charge banks, and Anker was the solution, now it was finding an Apple C to lightning cable, I tried the majority of what Amazon has to offer, I even bought the Amazon brand version too, and as usual most didn’t work past a day or would work sometimes, some just didn’t even work, cough, cough (Amazon)… but Anker was the solution, from now on when I need a charge bank or a wire I’m going to Anker, please don’t fail me Anker!I’m a big Anker fan. I have many of their products and they work great. I’ve even had to contact their customer service department and they have been fantastic. I needed a new cable and didn’t want to really splurge on the price, but decided to because I bought a really nice Anker battery charger. I must say, this cable does not disappoint. My phone charges super fast and it impressed so many people. The build quality is outstanding, you can tell right away when you hold it. Super pleased with this purchase.Only knock I have against it is that it is very expensive and the power cube is too, they must be making these cubes out of solid gold or something..... I know that it costs them pennies to make in some sweat shop over in China so why is it so expensive?I’ve been a fan / customer of Anker products for years. My initial evaluation of the 3ft cables I purchased won’t change that. The build quality is excellent and I like not having to see Apple white everywhere. In my experience the braided cables are more durable than the standard Apple vinyl cables.I run a lot of relay races in vans w 6 people. Having these distinctive cords helps me find or identify them as mine against all the black and white cables floating around is very helpful. Also campsites for trail relays and the occasional hotel room. I have both a short and a long so the right size for most situations!Do what there suppose to do and all is good so far for my Samsung Note 10+. I've never had ANY issues with Anker products in the past and these are no exception.While a tad on the pricy side, so are the electronics I plug into via this cord. Would you trust a $5 cord from 7-11 to charge your 500-1500 device? ?Anker makes great products, for very good prices. I have worked for Appl* and now work with their products. For quality, affordable accessories I always advise clients to look towards Anker. I’ve seen far too many devices fried by cheap accessories. (Esp when it comes to power)I have the previous generation. (Gen II) It was a bit stiff and the ends didn’t like bending.Version III resolves those issues. Perfect length at 6ft and love that red! Pair it with a high watt charger and let the good times buzz! My iPhone Pro gets from ~20% to 90% in less than an hour. (With the right wall adapter. This is just the cord)As advertised and as I can always count on quality from Anker. But, I am a little disappointed that the “fancy show-off display packaging” puts a permanent kink in both ends of the cable from where it was bent sharply to fit into the display plastic holder.I couldn’t complement or recommend Anker and their products enough.IMO Anker’s lightning cables are by far the best on the marketI have bought lots of Anker produces over the years and they just keep get better and better.With regards to customer support Anker are also outstanding. Recently and surprisingly I actually had an issue with the Powerline III usb-c to lightning cable. Somehow the lightning end cracked but how the support was handled was outstanding.I was outside my 30 day amazon returns so took a chance and contacted Anker directly.After capturing a picture, the serial number from the cable and my order details they immediately organised a replacement cable for me.Not only did they quickly dispatch a new cable and have it delivered it to me within a couple of days, the customer support agent was amazing. I couldn’t thank Celine enough. Clearly Celine takes pride in her job and was very helpful and friendly all the way through they customer support journey. Even to the point where she followed up with me to ensure the replacement was still working correctly.Don’t bother browsing for other cables... just but Anker.This was order for a family member as it says 3ft in length, however disappointed as its just a standard size in length. The frustrating this is that also it did not come cheap. So either I return and order a longer size or we continue looking for a longer wire.Anker cables are great and the only cables I use now. Have over half a dozen in various places around the house & cars.Had an issue with one which was replaced under warranty no problem.VERY HAPPY with the design, quality / durability and speed of cable. I'm NOT impressed with Apple cables, so bought my first Anker Lightning cable a few years ago, was VERY impressed and have bought numerous cables since. This is my latest cable and I’d utterly recommend it!!!!Good quality cable and end fittings, short of deliberate damage, they should last a long time and they look good.
