This is the second Smartish case I've purchased for myself. I also purchased two other Smartish cases for my kids. It's thick and the rubber around the face of the phone is high enough to protect it when I drop it (which is frequently). It definitely makes the phone bigger, but not as much as some other cases I've had. I love the fact that I can fit my drivers license and several credit/gift cards in back (max is around 4). Makes it easy for me when I'm walking/hiking/biking, as well as just running around and hopping in and out of the car, for errands/shopping, and I don't have to have my purse with me. From a safety perspective, I think it's necessary to have as little with you, as possible! I get a ton of compliments on this case because it is also beautiful!
